What did you ride before a Mountain board, or was it your first love?

Without wanting to be picky, I think you missed a must have on your poll: snowboard. Hardly to be included as "other" IMO... if nothing else it's arguably considered as the father of mountainboard. Am I right?

^ I think you are right.

I think you need way more options... snowboards, longboards, and surf boards are some.

mountain biking, then skateboarding, then surfing, then mountain boarding, then snow boarding.

Think thats the basic timeline of how iv picked up sports. I probably skateboard the most, then mboarding, then mbiking, then snowboarding, then surfing. Broken wrists have stopped me biking alot in the last few years though.

Skateboarding circa 1964, bodyboarding, snowboarding, in-line skating then mountainboarding.

I started skateboarding and BMX in the 70's. Started surfing, snowboarding, skimboarding, sandboarding in the 80's. Then I started mountainboarding May 8th 1994. Do you know the date, and remember the place you first rode a mountainboard?

My past is pretty standard I guess. Started with skateboard when as a child, then learned to ski with 9 or 10 years old, then went to MTB from 16 years old till adulthood. Restarted for a while with skateboarding and found my true passion on the winter of 1998, snowboarding, which is still going strong. But my happiness now is even greater as I found mountainboarding.
P.S. I've had also a short romance for a couple of years with inline skates before snowboard, but there's nothing like riding a board.

I snowboarded a season and a half and thats it no board sport experience before that. I feel I will always suck because I started sort of late, but thats just me putting limitations on myself again.

Got my first toy skateboard at around 7 yrs old. Went through a couple of toy boards then a variflex , then a load of pro boards up to the age of about 17.

Got into climbing & bouldering, initially introduced by my dad at 12 years old, as i grew up traveled and competed all over the place. Was pretty much my life until 29 when I got my first Scrub mountainboard, A few more years and a few more boards. Been riding ever since, 36 this year, still climb occasionally.

Got me thinking about my old variflex, my first halfway step to a proper board.

I had the air attack.

My favorite pro board I ever owned was my new deal Andy Howell. I had 2 of these.

I've snowboarded for a couple years, I've mountain biked.

I never really got into skate boarding. The street I live on is more suited to a mountain board better than any other.
