goproed up!
my amazing girlfriend has randomly decided to buy me a gopro hdhero 2!!!
been messing around with it, updated firmware, looked online for tips etc
was wondering where to stick the quick release bases, best video settings and anything else that's worth mentioning to a new GoProer
*i have the motor sport pack + the helmet strap (regular not vented)
and ill be making myself a tripod mount at work in the coming days in one of the two ways this guy does it....

As for settings, I always keep mine on the 720p 60fps setting because it seems to work best for slow motion editing.
yeah i mean to do exactly that, im just very lazy and was hoping someone would save me the trouble.
as for the settings, just so you know the 1280X720 is (according to the gopro book thingy) more suitable for vehicle mounting where side to side is important and up and down less so. they seem to recommend 1280X960 for helmet mounting but its only 48fps...not as good for slow mo i assume.
got a vid i can see shot at 720...maybe with slow mo?

The HDHero 1 and 2 can't do 1080p at 60 fps. The new 3 can though!
Here's a few videos we took at 720p but my slomo editing is is absolutely horrible. I need a better editor like Twixtor. I'm only slowing down the footage in FCPX for these.
