101 uses for an old knackered deck

Post by barxx » Sun Jul 28, 2013 8:15 am

So a few weeks ago i snapped a deck. It was my first ever deck and served me well for a few years but it was on the way out and i knew it wouldn't last the season.

The question is now what to do with it? I could just chuck it in the bin and i've seen people turn them into chairs and picnic tables. The missus suggested we hang it on the wall in our bar in the cellar and surround it with mountainboarding photos from events etc we go to.

Does anyone have any imaginitive ideas for a used old knackered deck? Maybe something you've already done with it?

Make it into a shelf or two shelves if it snapped completely

I like the bench McC, seen something similar made outta two old wakeboards that was sweet.
It's an old mindless deck round nose in shape it didn't snap clean in half just split across the bottom and through half the ply layers i will take a pic of it and post it here though don't know if the split will show up. Bummer is one of the lads i ride with very kindly gave me a new deck unfortunatly it's that flexible it's unrideable so i need to splash out and get another deck fast. He did say if it doesn't suit he's got more but i don't want to throw it back in his face, i ain't that kind of person.
