I use an old comp 16 deck combined with a 2 litre pop bottle full of water. The bottle starts to leak after about half hours use but we drink enough pop in the house that a spare bottle is never far away.

Seems like spending a couple dollars more for some scrap PVC pipe would solve the leakage problem once and for all.

Who the hell makes a board that expensive? For that that much I better be able to ride more than just down hills =)
That would be fun and I would like to meet and ride with Pete for sure. I'm sure Pete might be able to give me some tips. So that might do it.

I have an old scrub deck, (which is being kept for my daughter of 17 months), so i stripped it down, and tried some really thick cardboard tube, but it just squashed under my weight, then i used some threaded rod to bolt the rims together, applied a bit of gaffer tape, and hey presto!

I'm now thinking of adding some runners to the bottom ,and end stops right on the tips, so the rims can run to where the wheels would be on a mountain board, then bolt the bindings back on and I should be able to do nose manuals on it.

Great job!

Holding a medicine ball (and rotating / lifting it while balancing)Medicine ball exercises are great for your core, which is great for surfboarding.
