Brake kit

Buy a set of Hydraulic rim brakes for a mountain bike and the set of discs and adaptors to fit your wheels.
Mount the discs to the rims and fit the brakes onto the truck hanger, they should bolt into the same hole as the MBS brakes fit in with the correct sized bolts and fit a bar between the top to brace the calipers so they dont move away from the disc when you pull the brakes on when riding.
Use the rear brake if you get a front and rear set, the pipe between the handle and calipers is longer.

You can make some improvements to the V5. Here;s Joe's advice
"1. Replace the standard/normal brake pads with PHAT PADS (these are twice the width and are what downhill mountain bikers (used to?) use), which can/could be got from good cycle shops.
2. Add STRONG WASHERS to the end linkages of the cables to stop them pulling/ripping out under heavy pulling/braking.
3. Replace the BRAKE LEVER with a larger/longer one, this will increase your leverage, hence braking strength/ability."

I like the idea of a quick release break system and would like to see a tut
