mashup wrote:My board's picture is the same as my avatar pic. An MBS PRO 100 that i picked up for £200 from a guy who had only used it once! Its a brand new board that i got for an absolute steal from someone that just wanted a quick sale!

Nice board - looks like F3 bindings, matrix lites and rockstar pros? You got an absolute bargain!!

mashup wrote:Just wondering how you guys think i should set up the board to best suit my weight and rider style. Im 5" 11" and 11 stones in weight. I like to freeride, downhill, carve, boarder x, freestyle and a bit of landboard kiting with it. I currently have red egg shocks. Do i need to change these for oranges as suggested by another poster with the same board in a previous post?

Ahh, a good source of debate! I'd certainly recommend dropping to at least a pair of orange egg shocks, if not the yellows if you want to carve at all! The reds will be great for eliminating speed wobble, and great for straight line speed, but will mean you hop around every corner.

I'd personally recommend changing to trampa dampas, probably yellow ones given your height and weight. cost you around a tenner if your UK based.

Agreed. It's brand new and I got a screamin deal on it. Couldn't pass it up. Just got the phone call that it has been delivered and is sitting at my house. Can't wait to get home.

Got it from a Kite guy who will be carrying GI's new line (Dakitez on PKF.) They gave him a few of last years models to take a look at. I got the whole thing brand new for $220. Not too shabby.
