Your kids don't understand why you get off on some strange Exit in the middle of nowhere to check out some weed covered jumps from a 1970's motorcross track. Whatever kids, get your gear on! - Jlee

When you have to explain why your DECK is so big to all the girls!!!! - van dewitt

when you don't talk about how cool you are, you just ride! - Mike Cole

This was one of my favorite threads of all times at the hangout across the street, lets see what the SurfingDirt crew can come up with.

......you do your drinking only on days that you have to work the next day because you want to be at 100% on your days off so you can ride harder.

I'm going to cheat and use the same one: :D

When your whole weekend revolves around your sunset sessions...

After the last Sunday ride, you pop open a cold one, shirt soaked and sweat streaming down your face thinking:

"It doesn't get any better than this," while pitying those around you for not knowing what they are missing.

New addition:

When your most important purchase of the year is a set of newly released channel trucks.

Definately worth repeating, especially the last one. It's sad that your average person doesnt know anything fun to do during the day, everyone waits till dark to start drinking. I'd rather be up early getting some turns in.

How my Facebook friend's know you(they) are a mountainboarder:

Scott Micallef - your underwear is full of dirt

Travis Felts - you always have a new scrape to show off to your buds

Christoph Meuskens - you always thinking of boarding some hills you see in the moment.

Kerry Reynolds - When you stop questioning cuts on your body

Gustavo Campos Gladiador- when you take to long to climb a very hight and dificult mountain just to drop it! And dont take any food with you, becouse the dust and dirt is your lunch!!!

Shelby Lee - you go to pay for something and pull out a handfull of dirt instead of cash.

...when your mother or grandma asks you every year: 'You will NOT participate this event honey, will you?'

...when you are always full of scratches and scars and your friends think you are a complete idiot.

you design and build (or plan to build) a rack in your bedroom for your artwork (mountainboards) and you have a whiteboard with a 'next 10 year shopping list'

your car has an mbs sticker across the back window
the back seats have tyre marks on them
you have a wardrobe just for safety gear and 'boarding clothes'
you have a 'mountainboards' bank account

the list goes on
