Asham Woods? Somerset Riding?

Post by DamoH » Wed Jan 23, 2013 5:24 pm

Anyone ride here? Looking for somewhere to ride and was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's still there before I go searching for it. It's in Somerset, near Frome.

Anyone know of any other spots in the Frome or Radstock areas of Somerset?

I've never ridden here, but I've heard of it being ridden before. It's on the Ride Guide along with another spot nearby.

forgive me, I dont know how to link...

Looks like a great trail from the 1:15 mark to the 1:50, quite long, and looks pretty gnarly ... also from 3:00 to 3:20

looks like a nice spot overall, lucky git :D

Nice one Alex, thanks. I'll have to have a look for them at some point. Any idea if there's any clubs/groups in the Somerset area?

Thats the map I saw it on. Wasn't sure if it had been updated recently though.

Found another ride guide map too, this one has different places on it though.....

hey man, haven't you heard of WIB? Wedmore International Boarders, somerset's best mountainboard club 5 years on the trot. We wiped the floor in the Cheddar Internationals, placing 1st and 2nd and 4th.

Bit of History: Used to be just Wedmore National Boarders until i met a german kid and he came riding once. Hence, WIB was born. And...yeah, that's pretty much it.

Let us know about Asham Woods though.

Why don't I know about WIB?!? What's your website address? Where are your videos? Have you got a facebook page?
