MBS comp vs COre

Post by chrischabot81 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 10:47 am

WHy do i hate to ride my Comp95 F4 bindings/Matrix trucks and love to ride my Core95 with F2/ATS trucks.....

The core is lighter by a few lbs.... but everything else is nicer...

My core is very broken in and has tons of POP....

Do i need to keep trying to break in my Comp or is its thats they way its going to feel and ride forver.....

BTW im 160 lbs... is the comp for a bigger rider?

I ride a comp 95, it's made like that to be fast and go over bumps with ease.

Mate of mine has the Core95, it's good for carving but works better for light riders and has tonnes of speed wobble with skate trucks.. hence why I gave him my old Matrix's.

Pop your matrix trucks on your Core 95 and see what you think, Daleyg3 is right the skate trucks on the core95 made me wobble like a jelly.

Upload a pic to a photo hosting site such as TinyPic and it'll produce a link for you to bung into a forum post.

Could change the bushings in your ATS trucks. Go on motionboardshop and use the bushing selector. If the bushings you buy don't fit in precisely, you could always shim them down. Stock bushings are almost always garbage, IMO. Only stock RKP bushings I've liked have been in Ronin trucks (the casts)
